Which is better, TCS or Salesforce?

As a Salesforce Front End Developer, choosing between TCS and Salesforce depends on the context: TCS is a global IT services company that often implements Salesforce solutions for clients, while Salesforce is a cloud-based CRM platform that developers work on. Job description

Description:

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to own and evolve Salesforce as the backbone of PRIME’s customer experience. This role is backend-first and deeply focused on how Salesforce powers, orchestrates, and scales our customer-facing surfaces — from our PRIME360 Account portal to cart and checkout flows, lifecycle communications, and third-party integrations.

This is the first engineering role at PRIME dedicated exclusively to customer experience enablement. You’ll sit at the intersection of Salesforce architecture, product strategy, and CX — designing systems that seamlessly connect internal data, business logic, and external digital experiences.

You won’t just be implementing requirements; you’ll help define how Salesforce should function as a modern experience platform, ensuring our customers have coherent, reliable, and human-centered journeys across every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and build Salesforce backend systems that power customer-facing experiences across:
    • PRIME360 Account (customer portal)
    • Cart and checkout flows
    • Product onboarding and fulfillment
    • Lifecycle marketing and notifications
  • Build and expose robust APIs that allow:
    • Customer-facing applications to interact with Salesforce
    • Third parties and partners to integrate with Prime’s products and experiences
  • Serve as a technical bridge between Salesforce and external systems, including:
    • Customer portals and web applications
    • Payments and billing platforms
    • Marketing automation and lifecycle tooling
  • Lead the Salesforce architecture for new CX-driven initiatives, such as:
    • Personalized notifications and lifecycle triggers
    • Embedded and partner-driven checkout experiences
    • Vendor and service marketplaces
  • Design and maintain Salesforce data models, Apex services, Flows, and integrations that support complex customer journeys and product logic
  • Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Marketing, and Operations to translate customer experience goals into scalable technical solutions
  • Influence platform-level decisions around scalability, reliability, data integrity, and extensibility
  • Champion clean architecture, thoughtful system design, and long-term maintainability
Requirements:About You
  • 5+ years of experience building and supporting customer-facing systems
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce backend development, including Apex, Flows, SOQL, Salesforce data architecture and schema design
  • Strong experience designing and consuming Salesforce APIs and external integrations
  • Proven ability to think architecturally and strategically, not just at the ticket level
  • Experience supporting 0?1 or evolving platforms where patterns and best practices are still being defined
  • A strong point of view on how backend systems shape customer experience
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing product and CX decisions through technical insight

Nice to Have

  • Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., React, modern JS frameworks)
  • Familiarity with Node.js or middleware services that sit between Salesforce and customer-facing apps
  • Exposure to lifecycle marketing tools or event-driven architectures

Why Join Us

You’ll be joining Prime at a pivotal moment. This role will help define how customer experience is engineered, not just designed. You’ll have real ownership over the systems that power our most important customer interactions — and the opportunity to shape a platform that helps entrepreneurs access tools that were once reserved for large enterprises.

  • Impact at scale: Your work will shape the experience of thousands of entrepreneurs using PRIME360.
  • Autonomy + Accountability: You’ll be trusted to lead, experiment, and deliver results — no micromanagement, just momentum.
  • Collaborative Culture: You’ll work alongside creative thinkers, engineers, and business leaders who care deeply about customer success and innovation.
  • Modernization Mission: You’ll play a key role in bringing advanced tech, analytics, and UX discipline to a growing organization — setting the foundation for the next generation of PRIME’s digital ecosystem
