Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business value. Acting as a technical leader within a high-performing product team, you will lead the implementation of complex features across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, integrations, and data architecture while partnering closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and business stakeholders. You will influence technical direction, promote engineering excellence, and ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and user-centric.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, Platform Events, and integration technologies.
  • Lead technical execution for complex features, enhancements, and production support activities.
  • Drive solution design, code quality, test automation, security, performance, and release readiness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving data integrity, security, automation, integrations, governor limits, and user experience.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and influence engineering best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, including vulnerabilities and issues introduced through AI-generated code.
  • Participate in Agile delivery processes, including planning, estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, App Builder, or Architecture credentials preferred.

Experience

  • 5-8+ years of software engineering experience with significant Salesforce platform development expertise.
  • Proven experience delivering complex Salesforce solutions and leading technical initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, integrations, Platform Events, data modeling, and Salesforce security.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, testing strategies, CI/CD, and release management.
  • Experience designing scalable solutions, integration patterns, and maintainable application architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, drive change, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership through influence, mentorship, and technical guidance.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.

Minnesota: [$103,500-$123,750]
