We are seeking a motivated and experienced problem-solver to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for our Field Service systems. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technology solutions. You will be the go-to expert for our core Field Service platform, responsible for analyzing complex challenges, designing effective solutions, and driving the implementation of key initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep functional and technical understanding of Salesforce Field Service and a passion for improving processes and solving intricate problems.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the Salesforce Field Service platform, providing technical and functional guidance.
  • Partner with field service, customer service, and other business stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead business analysis efforts by capturing, documenting, and translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system designs.
  • Analyze complex business problems and design scalable, effective solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Configure and customize the Salesforce Field Service application, including work orders, service appointments, asset management, scheduling logic, and the mobile experience.
  • Act as a key problem solver by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical and functional issues within the platform.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, system administrators, and external partners to deliver integrated and robust solutions.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and stability of new features and enhancements.
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap for field service technology, identifying opportunities for innovation, process automation, and efficiency gains.
  • Create documentation and provide training to business users to drive adoption and ensure best practices are followed.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor''s Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience in an information systems or business analysis role.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service (SFS), including implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Proven experience in a role blending functional business analysis and technical system configuration.
  • Deep understanding of core field service business processes (e.g., dispatch, scheduling, work order management, inventory, mobile workforce operations).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Field Service Consultant).
  • Experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
