This is a strategic design leadership role focused on helping customers understand the value of the Agentic Enterprise through demos, storytelling, and experience design.

As Experience Design Director, you will lead the design vision behind Salesforce's most strategic keynote demos, executive presentations, and customer engagements. You will work across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, and Demo Engineering teams to shape experiences that are clear, credible, and grounded in how the business actually works.

This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, systems thinking, interaction design, and platform strategy. As AI reshapes how experiences are designed and built, this role will help shape how Salesforce approaches design, prototyping, and storytelling.

Responsibilities
  • Vision & Strategy: Lead the design vision for keynote demos, executive presentations, customer engagements, and strategic storytelling moments on salesforce largest stages.

  • Build strong alignment with Salesforce's core design organization: Act as a strategic partner and collaborate confidently to ensure strategic experiences both reflect and influence the broader product experience direction.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, PMM, Demo Engineering, and Communications teams: to align narrative, interaction, and product truth.

  • Translate complex platform capabilities into intuitive and compelling end-to-end customer experiences.

  • Craft & Excellence: Drive a culture of craft, bringing consumer-grade design and high-fidelity execution and consistency across interaction models, UX patterns, visual systems, and storytelling across surfaces including Slack, mobile, web, and voice.

  • Operational Discipline: Drive clarity and execution within your workstreams, ensuring high-velocity delivery without sacrificing craft. You will raise the bar through peer mentorship, design critique, and consistent improvement.

  • Executive Influence: Present complex design visions to key stakeholders, delivering audience-aware communications that translate design decisions into clear presentations and impact.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years leading Product Design (UX), or experience design teams, delivering high-quality demos to Executive and public. within enterprise software, SaaS, platform, or AI environments.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in interaction design, systems thinking, storytelling, and complex enterprise workflows translated into compelling customer-facing experiences.

  • Deep understanding of AI, AI tools, and their applications in workflow; a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and using the latest AI tools.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and move fluidly between strategy, narrative, prototyping, and execution.

  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills with experience operating in high-visibility environments.

  • Clear point of view on how AI is reshaping product interaction, storytelling, and the future role of design.
