Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, customization, and maintenance of Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Salesforce, with the ability to design, implement, and optimize solutions that align with business requirements. As a Salesforce Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable solutions that enhance the user experience and support business growth.

Position Reports to Director, Application Development

Location: Philadelphia, PA or Rockville, MD preferred.

Job Responsibilities

   Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components to meet business requirements.
   Customize Salesforce applications, including workflows, reports, dashboards, process automation, and data models to align with business needs.
   Deliver high quality solutions based on cross-cutting functional requirements including business, performance, scalability, compatibility, internationalization, security, auditing, diagnostics & logging, and failover and disaster recovery 
   Provide support during work and off hours (emergencies). This will be in form of defect fixes, data modifications and emergency support 
   Establish and implement standards and practices to ensure the highest degree of software quality.
   Deliver results and value to the business and its clients.

   Collaborate with Business Analysis team to help elicit or review business requirements

Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with hands-on knowledge of Agentforce for building and deploying AI-driven agent solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration tools like Process Builder, Flow Builder, and Workflow Rules.
  • Hands-on experience in creating and customizing reports, dashboards, and data models within Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
  • Experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
  • Experience working with Salesforce data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard).
  • Excellent customer engagement skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet the ever-changing needs and visions of the client
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
