Pay: 98,675 - 148,012 / year. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Job Responsibilities:

The Salesforce Platform Developer Sr. is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications within the Salesforce ecosystem to support business operations, digital engagement, and user experience initiatives across the organization. This role develops and enhances custom applications, automations, and workflows using Salesforce platform tools, including Flow, Lightning components, and declarative technologies. Responsibilities include building and supporting secure, user-friendly portals within Salesforce Experience Cloud, partnering with stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions, and ensuring applications are optimized for performance, usability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

This position also supports the ongoing administration, enhancement, and optimization of Salesforce applications and user experiences across departments. The Salesforce Platform Developer is responsible for troubleshooting issues, improving system efficiency, maintaining automation processes, and supporting platform adoption through continuous improvement efforts. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, maintain data integrity, support releases and testing activities, and ensure Salesforce solutions continue to meet evolving organizational and operational needs while delivering a reliable and high-quality user experience for all users.

The selected candidate will work with a seasoned team at the Catalyst Building in the Rino district of Denver. In this collaborative, team-oriented environment, the CRM Solutions team focuses on innovation, problem-solving, operational efficiency, and consumer engagement at the intersection of healthcare, Salesforce technology, data, and AI. We build scalable solutions that enhance communications, personalization, and engagement.

Success in this role typically involves hands-on solution development, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning. Team members work closely with marketing, digital experience, analytics, operations, and clinical stakeholders to design and implement modern Salesforce capabilities including automation, AI-driven workflows, personalization, custom applications including portals, identity resolution, and real-time engagement strategies. UCHealth values curiosity, adaptability, accountability, and a willingness to explore emerging technologies while operating within the privacy, security, and compliance standards required in healthcare. The CRM Solutions team operates in a hybrid work environment designed to support both collaboration and flexibility, with team members working in-office four days per week and remotely one day per week.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 3 years of experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem, including application development, platform configuration, and automation support.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Salesforce solutions using Flow, Lightning Experience, custom objects, page layouts, permissions, and declarative platform tools.
  • Prefer experience building or supporting portals and digital experiences using Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce security models, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and user administration.
  • Experience troubleshooting system issues, optimizing platform performance, and supporting production environments.
  • Familiarity in working within cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or enterprise environments is preferred but not required.
  • Salesforce certification (Admin, Developer, or Solutions) are preferred.
