RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Salesforce Developer in West Palm Beach, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Principal Salesforce Developer to serve as the technical architect and strategic leader for our Salesforce platform. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, proven leadership in driving enterprise-wide initiatives, and the ability to establish technical standards and best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical excellence with strategic vision, mentoring senior developers, and partnering with executive stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Architecture & Technical Leadership:
* Define and enforce Salesforce architecture standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks across the enterprise
* Architect complex, scalable solutions spanning multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing) and integrations
* Lead technical due diligence for platform upgrades, third-party packages, and emerging Salesforce technologies including AI/Einstein capabilities
* Drive adoption of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
* Establish security architecture including data governance, compliance frameworks, and audit controls
Advanced Development & Innovation:
* Design and develop sophisticated solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture
* Architect enterprise integrations using MuleSoft and custom API solutions with complex orchestration patterns
* Implement advanced security models including OAuth, SAML, SSO, field-level encryption, and platform security best practices
* Leverage Salesforce DX, version control strategies, and release management processes
* Evaluate and implement AI-powered solutions, including Einstein Analytics, Einstein Bots, and Copilot capabilities
REQUIREMENTS:
* Certifications: Minimum of 4 Salesforce certifications required, including: Platform Developer II (required)
* Application Architect or System Architect (required)
* Additional certifications such as Integration Architect, Identity & Access Management, Data Architect, or AI Specialist (preferred)
* Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development with at least 3 years in an architect or principal-level role
* Extensive experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar iPaaS platforms and complex integration patterns
* Strong experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Copado), and automated testing frameworks
* Expert-level proficiency across the Salesforce platform including Apex, LWC, Flows, Platform Events, APIs, and multi-cloud solutions
* Proven track record leading technical teams, establishing standards, and driving organizational change in Agile/SAFe environments
* Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
* Demonstrated ability to balance technical excellence with business value and long-term platform sustainability
Preferred Qualifications:
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
* Experience with Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS) and decision automation platforms
* Experience with Agile at scale (SAFe) methodologies
* Experience implementing AI/ML solutions or Einstein platform capabilities
* Knowledge of utility industry applications (nCino, Vlocity/Industries, or similar)
* Background in data migration, ETL processes, and master data management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
