Salesforce Developer Role: 

As a member of the company’s information technology team, the Salesforce Developer is responsible for development, testing, and deployment of technology components. The position will participate in Salesforce Development within the Salesforce team, and will contribute to the overall design and implementation of the evolving enterprise Salesforce solutions. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for delivery and implementation of Salesforce components.

Essential Functions:
  • Deliver innovative solutions that provide value to both internal and external end users.
  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and support Salesforce technology solutions.
  • Consult and partner with the architecture team on current software and data priorities.
  • Establish and adhere to coding standards, contributing to their definition and improvement. Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices, including appropriate design patterns.
  • Comply to guidance with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology and governance strategies.
  • Utilize skills that span across disciplines and comfortably play different roles in more than just one area.
  • Work hand and hand with the Dev/Ops team to solidify and enhance our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot software issues, data accuracy and performance issues.
  • Promote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSite’s culture and Core Values.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment that consists of at least two onsite days per week.
  • Must be able to work during normal business hours as well as nights or weekends as needed to support deployments and maintenance windows.
  • Ability to pivot easily within a constantly changing Agile environment and comfortable with a high degree of change.
  • Familiar with source code, version management, and code deployment standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information across technical and business domains and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and across various technology disciplines.
  • Ability to analyze requirements, retrieve source data, and present accurate results in a timely manner.
  • Accomplished in using best practices for gathering and documenting complete and detailed requirements.
  • Knowledge on different integration patterns.
  • Knowledge on various asynchronous capabilities and its use cases.
  • Understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, and experience Clouds.
  • Understanding of systems architecture and ability to craft scalable solutions.
  • Proven ability to facilitate knowledge sharing, resolve conflicts, lead open discussions, and ensure fairness.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology or related studies strongly preferred.
  • 7+ Years of IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years hands-on development experience on the Salesforce platform. Experience must include:
  • Salesforce customization, security controls, creating profiles, roles, users, record types, page layouts and email services
  • SFDC administrative tools such as managing users, data management, domain management, generating reports, dashboards, communication templates, tasks and events
  • Hands-On development experience with Apex, Triggers, Flows, Aura/ LWC Components strongly required
  • Creating custom objects, custom tabs, flows, custom fields, picklist values, role-based page layouts, custom reports and report extractions to various formats
  • Salesforce DX and DevOps
  • SLDS and passion for UX/UI
  • Delivering in a variety of development frameworks (Scrum, Waterfall, Iterative, Kanban, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • New product development within the Telecommunications or Data Center industry, with a solid understanding of network-based products, preferred.
  • Experience with Mulesoft Anypoint and SQL Server is preferred.
  • Preferred Salesforce certifications.

Compensation:
Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $125,300 and $143,700. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based upon individual and company performance.
