Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Data Conversion Tester to support data migration projects within the Salesforce environment, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout migration and conversion processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data validation, SQL, SOQL, Salesforce data migration testing, ETL, and source-to-target reconciliation, with the ability to validate data across legacy and Salesforce systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform end-to-end data conversion and migration testing for data being transitioned from legacy systems into Salesforce.
• Validate converted data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across source and target systems.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate migrated data and perform data reconciliation.
• Write and execute SOQL queries to validate Salesforce data and support migration testing.
• Conduct detailed legacy system versus Salesforce data comparisons.
• Identify missing, incorrect, duplicated, or improperly transformed records during data migration.
• Perform source-to-target data comparison and reconciliation activities.
• Support conversion dry runs, mock migrations, and various testing cycles.
• Perform production migration validation as required.
• Work with ETL and data integration processes to understand and validate extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
• Collaborate with technical and project teams to investigate and resolve data conversion issues.
• Document testing results, validation findings, discrepancies, and reconciliation outcomes.
• Support overall data quality and integrity throughout the Salesforce migration lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Conversion and Data Migration Testing.
• Strong experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
• Strong experience with SOQL queries for Salesforce data validation.
• Experience working with ETL and data integration tools.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Proven experience performing legacy-to-target system migration testing.
• Strong experience with source-to-target data comparison and reconciliation.
• Experience identifying data discrepancies, missing records, duplicates, and transformation errors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with technical and project teams.
