Position: Lead Salesforce Developer

Location: Irvine, CA or Atlanta, GA

Role Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer is the technical lead for all development activities. They possess a deep knowledge of the Force.com platform, Apex, Visualforce, and other programming languages required to develop the solution. Understanding the 'clicks-not-code' functionalities of Salesforce, the Senior Salesforce Developer recognizes when to use custom solutions in addition to standard Salesforce functions to deliver the right product to meet business requirements.

The Senior Salesforce Developer works closely with the Salesforce Solution Architect and Senior Salesforce Consultant to design, develop, and implement the final solution.

For this assignment, knowledge of web services integration and automated testing processes and procedures is required.

Responsibilities:

         Serves as lead technical application expert on critical Salesforce applications

         Develop and apply advanced Salesforce functionality to solve business problems and create customized solutions on the Force.com platform

         Assess requirements from a data architecture perspective. Recommend and develop technical approach. Create design, development, and testing documentation.

         Troubleshoot issues. Resolve complex system problems. Develop and manage complex workflow rules, data validations, and object customizations.

         Design and develop data migrations and integrations between Salesforce and external systems including developing data transformations and creating automated jobs to support business processes

         Develop Apex Triggers, VisualForce pages, custom code to solve customer challenges

         Analyze and assess technical strategy with customers and/or teammates related to external systems, Saleforce, and data processes

         Work in conjunction with teammates to ensure delivery of full Salesforce implementation including UI and backend processes

         Work with clients & other teammates, either on site or remotely, to understand their business processes and strategies as it relates to Salesforce.com and technical implementations (as required)

         Create technical requirements and specifications as needed to support full project lifecycle

         Assist with pre-sales/ post-sales and marketing activities as needed.

         Mentor other Salesforce Developers

Required Skills:

         5 - 9 years of experience in software development or programming and/or relevant experience
