Job description

Job Title: General Sales Manager - Ford & CDJR
Location: Veero Ford & Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Morris, MN
Job Type: Full-Time
About Us:
Veero Ford & Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Morris is a fast-growing, dual-franchise dealership in a high-opportunity rural market. We are building a performance-driven culture focused on execution, accountability, and customer experience.
We are looking for a true operator-a General Sales Manager who can drive results, build a team, and take ownership of the entire sales operation.
Position Overview:
The General Sales Manager will lead all aspects of variable operations across both Ford and CDJR brands. This includes new and used vehicle sales, inventory strategy, pricing, desking, and sales team development.
This role is not for someone who wants to maintain-it's for someone who wants to build, fix, and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage new & used vehicle sales across Ford and CDJR
  • Own inventory strategy (ordering, aging, turn, mix, pricing)
  • Drive monthly volume and gross objectives
  • Desk deals and structure profitable transactions
  • Improve lead handling, appointment setting, and closing ratios
  • Build and enforce a high-performance sales process
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales consultants and managers
  • Align sales with F&I for stronger handoff and higher PVR
  • Utilize tools like vAuto, CRM (VinSolutions), and digital retailing
  • Monitor KPIs daily (appointments, show rates, close rates, grosses)

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven GSM or strong Sales Manager ready to step up
  • Experience with Ford, CDJR, or multi-franchise operations (preferred)
  • Strong desking and deal structuring ability
  • Data-driven mindset (inventory, pricing, KPIs)
  • Leadership presence-can hold people accountable and drive performance
  • Experience with vAuto, CRM tools, and digital lead management
  • High urgency, high ownership mentality
  • Ability and willingness to relocate to Morris, MN

Why Join Us:
  • High-impact role with full ownership of sales operations
  • Dual franchise = significant volume and growth opportunity
  • Ability to build your own team and processes
  • Competitive compensation (base + aggressive performance bonus)
  • Supportive ownership with clear vision and fast decision-making
  • Rural market advantage - loyal customer base, less competition

Compensation:
$100,000 - $150,000(based on performance)
Top performers only-this role is for someone who wants to run a store, not just manage a desk.
