Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Sales Associate to be the first point of contact for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations by assisting with both front-end customer interactions and supporting back-office and shop floor activities, including shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist customers professionally.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, address inquiries, and direct calls as needed.

  • Manage over-the-counter requests for services and sales transactions.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

  • Process sales transactions, issue receipts, and manage cash register operations.

  • Assist with inventory management and restocking.

  • Support back-office tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.

Shop Floor Assistance:

  • Coordinate with shop floor staff to ensure prompt processing of orders and services.

  • Monitor workflow and communicate any issues to management.

  • Assist with light administrative tasks on the shop floor.

Shipping and Receiving:

  • Handle shipping and receiving of goods and materials.

  • Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

  • Ensure accurate and timely shipping of customer orders.

Requirements:
