Summary/Function:
D.A Davidson & Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Institutional Sales Assistant to support our Fixed Income Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and has strong organizational and administration skills. The Sales Assistant will play a critical role in onboarding institutional clients, resolving trade and compliance issues, and ensuring smooth operations support across Sales, Trading, and Underwriting desks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Fixed Income Sales team
  • Manage and coordinate the onboarding process for new institutional accounts, including all required documentation
  • Assist in resolving trade discrepancies and identifying potential bond or transaction issues
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Trading, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of trades
  • Support the Fixed Income Trading and Underwriting Desks with ad-hoc requests, account inquiries, and general administrative needs

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferable in a sales support or operations role withing Fixed Income Capital Markets, preferred
  • Maintain or be open to obtaining the Series 7 license within 90 days of employment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams in a professional and fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of fixed income products and/or FINRA SEC compliance requirements is a plus

The potential base pay hiring range for this role is $33.65 - $38.46 per hour. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate. This role is eligible to participate in applicable D.A. Davidson variable compensation programs.
