Position Summary
Your are naturally curious, highly motivated, and energized by finding and pursuing new opportunities. You enjoy learning about customer applications, and engaging with technical decision-makers. This role is designed for someone who wants to develop into a future Territory Sales Manager or Strategic Account Manager.
Core Profile: An ambitious, coachable sales hunter who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, learning technical products, and creating new opportunities through persistence and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Development & Prospecting
  • Identify and develop new customers, applications, and market opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and execute prospecting plans using market research, Salesforce, LinkedIn, distribution partners, and industry networks.
  • Generate and qualify leads through outreach, referrals, networking, and industry events.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.

Business Development
  • Understand customer needs and identify opportunities for Qnity products and solutions.
  • Support product evaluations, trials, and qualification activities.
  • Deliver sales presentations and introductory meetings with prospective customers.
  • Partner with technical and product teams to develop customer-focused solutions.

Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person customer visits.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience through responsiveness and follow-up.

Sales Execution & Territory Management
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in Salesforce.
  • Track territory performance and sales activity against objectives.
  • Provide market insights on competitors, industry trends, and customer developments.
  • Represent Qnity at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.

Learning & Professional Growth
  • Develop expertise in Qnity products, technologies, and target markets.
  • Learn customer applications and manufacturing processes within advanced electronics markets.
  • Participate in ongoing technical and sales training.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and prepare for advancement into Territory Manager or Technical Sales roles.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, customer-facing roles, internships, or related experience.
  • Strong listening skills and consultative selling potential.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • A proactive "hunter" mindset focused on creating opportunities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel by air and automobile as require
