Job description

Sales Representative
Compensation based on experience: $40,000-$50,000 base + commission
We're looking for a driven and relationship-focused Sales Representative who thrives on building new business, developing strong customer partnerships, and delivering solutions that create long-term value. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident in a fast-paced sales environment, and motivated by both relationship-building and results.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within current accounts

  • Sell material handling solutions and services to both prospective and existing customers by understanding operational needs and recommending tailored solutions

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and key decision-makers by providing product knowledge, consultative support, and responsive service

  • Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations to showcase solutions and support the sales process

  • Prepare accurate, competitive quotations using internal quote systems while coordinating with internal teams to secure approvals and ensure timely delivery

  • Present professional business proposals and executive-level presentations to customers and stakeholders

  • Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales cycle to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, service, and leadership teams to support customer needs and successful project execution

  • Track sales activity, pipeline updates, and customer interactions while maintaining organized account and opportunity records

  • All other responsibilities/duties as assigned

What You Need:
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Experience or knowledge within material handling, industrial warehousing, or industrial equipment industries is a plus

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new business, and close sales opportunities

  • Ability to build credibility and maintain relationships with corporate clients and decision-makers

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory
