Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to drive sales growth and manage strategic customer relationships within the subsea visual systems sector.  The role will provide a technical resource throughout the sales lifecycle, supporting customers, the sales team, and internal departments by developing technical proposals, coordinating customer requirements, and ensuring successful project execution.

This position works closely with engineering, operations, and business development to deliver technically sound solutions that meet customer specifications while supporting the Company's strategic sales objectives. The role also provides post-delivery customer support, maintains product expertise, and contributes to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial and business development skills with technical expertise in video surveillance systems, camera technologies, and IP-based network solutions. This individual will work closely with government agencies, shipbuilders, defense contractors, and marine system integrators to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and secure new business.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

·        Identify, develop, and close new revenue opportunities within the subsea market.

·        Expand sales activities focused on oil and gas subsea applications.

·        Engage customers early in program development cycles to influence requirements and position the company as a preferred technology provider.

·        Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.

·        Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions.

Customer Relationship Management

·        Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers throughout the subsea sector

·        Conduct regular customer meetings, site visits, and virtual presentations.

·        Develop strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance loyalty and business expansion

·        Expand sales opportunities through new customer acquisition and account development

Technical Sales & Proposal Support

·        Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to understand customer requirements and develop effective solutions

·        Support customer RFIs, RFQs, proposals, and technical evaluations.

·        Take ownership of proposal development, quotations, and commercial submissions for assigned accounts and opportunities

·        Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing technical expertise on surveillance, imaging, and networking technologies

·        Supply Operations with  necessary information to ensure accuracy in demand forecasting

Technical Sales & Proposal Support

·        Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts.

·        Develop opportunity plans and track progress toward sales objectives.

·        Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

·        Utilize CRM systems to manage opportunities and customer engagement activities.

Minimum Qualifications & Experence

·        Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Business, or a closely related technical field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered

·        Two or more years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, applications engineering, project engineering, or a related technical customer support role

·        Experience in Subsea ROV market

·        Demonstrated success in developing customer relationships and closing complex technical sales opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

·        Existing network of contacts within subsea ROV market

·        Knowledge of subsea visual systems, subsea cameras, imaging technologies, video management solutions

·        Familiarity with IP-based networking and integrating electronics

·        Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product documentation

Technical & Software Proficiency

·        Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·        CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems

·        Forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting tools

·       Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus
