Job description

Southwest Construction Services is a Texas-based construction company founded in 1993 specializing in Sawing, Waterproofing, Concrete, Architectural Flooring, Demolition, and Restoration.

We are seeking an experienced Restoration Sales/Project Manager to help grow our Restoration division by developing new business, building strong industry relationships, and connecting customers with the right restoration solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction, concrete restoration, building materials, or outside sales and is comfortable developing relationships with general contractors, property managers, engineers, distributors, and other construction professionals. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, knowledgeable about the construction industry, and comfortable spending time in the field developing new opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the concrete restoration and repair market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, property managers, engineers, distributors, and other construction industry professionals.
  • Prospect for new accounts through cold calling, referrals, networking, jobsite visits, industry events, and other business-development activities.
  • Conduct site visits to understand customer needs and identify potential restoration opportunities.
  • Present restoration services, repair solutions, products, and capabilities to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on leads, proposals, and prospective projects.
  • Work closely with estimating and operations teams to develop appropriate solutions, scopes, and proposals for customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of concrete restoration methods, repair products, coatings, sealants, epoxies, mortars, grouts, and related materials and applications.
  • Stay informed of local construction activity, upcoming projects, competitors, and market opportunities.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the sales process and assist with ensuring a smooth transition from sale to project execution.
  • Attend networking events, customer meetings, industry functions, and other business-development activities as needed.
  • Meet or exceed established sales and business-development goals.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of outside sales, construction, concrete restoration, or related industry experience preferred.
  • Experience working with general contractors and other construction industry professionals.
  • Knowledge of concrete restoration, repair systems, construction materials, products, and accessories strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the construction sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship development through proposal and contract award.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with estimating, operations, and other internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn company CRM and estimating/takeoff systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Ability to visit active construction sites and stand or walk for extended periods.
