Sales & Design Representative – Summary:
The Sales & Design Representative (SD-Rep) at Concept Bath Systems, Inc (CBS) is responsible for providing accurate and timely ‘Bath & Kitchen Remodeling’ SOWs, Sales Quotes, and Sales Contracts along with the ‘Best Customer Service' to potential CBS customers. The SDR will prepare detailed & accurate cost estimates based off of comprehensive SOWs. With those items in hand, the SD-Rep will then produce Sales Quotes following CBS’s guidelines for Gross & Net Profitability. Once a project has been sold, the SD-Rep will pass along any relevant Project Info to other Project Collaborators such as the Project Coordinator, Install Dept Manager, Crew Leads, and Bookkeeper (for Job Costing purposes).
CBS prides itself on offering the ‘Best Customer Service’ in the Bath Remodeling Industry. As such, the ‘Sales & Design Representative’ person must demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional service both internally to all the Project Team members, as well as externally to vendors, subcontractors, & customer (CRM).
This position reports directly to the Sales & Mktg Manager / President.

Sales & Design Representative – Primary Functions:
• Receive and answer outside Sales Calls (whether by phone, email, or walk-in)
• Set up appointments with new & existing clients to meet with them in person & onsite
• Develop existing and new customer relationships to promote CBS’s Remodeling Services including phone inquiries, in-person sales calls, presentations, follow-up, and closed sales - reporting such activities to senior management .
• Create Project Design Plans & Drawings ?? Identify materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Prepare detailed & comprehensive Scope of Work (SOWs) to produce accurate Quotes
• While at the Job Site, take detailed & accurate “Project Notes” to gather essential “Project” info/data.
• Use CBS’s proprietary “Pricing Model” to produce accurate and timely Quotes
• Produce comprehensive SOWs, Quotes, & Final Presentations within specified due dates
• Maintain Sales Department “Project Calendar Schedule” ?? List of various Remodeling Projects’ Install Dates
• Oversee multiple Remodeling Projects simultaneously
• Obtain & analyze quotes from subcontractors & vendors/suppliers, and negotiate pricing
• Consult & communicate with project coordinator, install teams, vendors, subcontractors, and management regarding any and all aspects of Project details, clarifications, and changes.
• Upon a Project/Job being awarded, provide a Project/Job Budget for the Project Coordinator & Bookkeeper to use with their Job Costing tools.
• Work with Operations Install Crews to prepare for execution of Remodeling Projects
• Participate in activities, client meetings, and on-site meetings to gain a good understanding of our work and client needs.

Sales & Design Representative – Secondary Functions:
• Develop and execute both short-term and long-term Sales & Marketing Plans and Goals
• Acquire full understanding of the scope & requirements of the project at hand
• Perform administrative duties as part of Sales Activity & Sales Production tracking (metrics)
• Assist with marketing & promo, account follow-up, and payment collection
• Maintain MS Excel Quoting & Pricing Model databases & reports
• Prepare and maintain a directory of current & past Customers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, latest materials, and best practices
• Cultivate healthy & productive relationships with Project Team members, Subcontractors, Customers, etc.
• Follow SOP’s of Sales & Marketing Department

To be a successful Sales & Design Representative, you should have 2-3 years of experience in the Bath & Kitchen Remodeling industry, as well as a working knowledge of the construction industry. The SD-Rep person should help drive profitable growth by being engaged & up-to-date in the Remodeling Industry, and by being proactive with Sales & Marketing. Ideally, the SD-Rep for CBS will spend 65% of their time in the showroom/office and 35% of their time out in the field. Standard Retail Showroom hours apply (5.5 days/wk). This individual should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task with hard deadlines. CBS’s SD-Rep person will conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to best serve CBS’s customers while increasing the goodwill & profitability of the company. High level of customer satisfaction is of utmost importance.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years of Experience in Sales & Estimating ?? preferably in the Remodeling or Construction industry - ideally in Mid-West area.
• Knowledge of Bath/Kitchen Remodeling materials and Construction techniques.
• Experience with Sales & Marketing practices, including account follow-up and CRM.
• Experience in Construction Estimating and Project Management is a plus.
• Expert in Excel and proficient with other MS Office software (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to pay particular attention to detail, good decision-making skills, and the ability to approach and handle problems strategically.
• Strong Organizational and Self-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proven ‘time management’ and ‘follow-through’ skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Works both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment
• Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal team members.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record

Compensation:
Employment at CBS starts out with a competitive salary plus benefits which depends on experience. This position’s compensation is paid out with both a base salary & a sales commission. The starting Base Annual Salary for the ‘Sales & Design Representative’ position ranges from $38,000 - $40,000 depending on experience. This Base Salary is supplemented with a ‘Stair-Stepped’ Sales Commission Structure (from 2% to 5%) for every Individual (on their own) Project Sold & Installed. A motivated SD-Rep should derive an additional 30% - 60% of their total Compensation from their Sales Commission.
