Warehouse of Fixtures is the largest local seller of preowned office furniture, which saves clients up to 80% on product and shortens lead times to installation.  Our company serves businesses nationwide and internationally. 

Our business has a strong community involvement, donating our time, money, and furniture to worthwhile local causes such as Operation Food Search, Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition, and the Urban League.  We also have a very strong commitment to re-use/recycle, keeping furniture out of the waste stream every year.

 Summary of Position:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Professional will identify customer needs, present tailored solutions, and negotiate sales orders to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers,                             business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources by developing contacts and             client relationships with Fortune 5000 companies, Educational Institutions, Real Estate Agents, Architects and                   Designers.
  • Maintains adequate GP for each project.
  • Call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk with customers on the sales floor or by phone.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes saleable features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of vendor and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Works with designers to keep projects on budget and within timeline.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customer contacts and vendors.
  • Works with Customer Service to investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
  • Successful pipeline development which includes networking, outbound calls, LinkedIn (or similar)
  • Uses CAD or hand sketches for small projects
  • Track discounts on used furniture.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
