What is a sales pre set appointment?

Sales pre set appointments are scheduled meetings between a sales representative and a potential customer that have been arranged in advance, often by a separate appointment setting team. These appointments are designed to connect qualified leads with sales professionals, allowing the sales team to focus on closing deals rather than prospecting. The process typically involves identifying potential clients, reaching out to them, and scheduling a time for a sales conversation. This approach helps improve efficiency and increases the chances of successful sales conversions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in sales pre set appointments?

To thrive in Sales Pre Set Appointments, you need strong communication, persuasion, and organizational skills, often supported by prior sales experience or relevant training. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and call scheduling tools is typically required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, resilience, and active listening help you build rapport and handle objections effectively. These abilities are crucial for consistently securing qualified appointments, maximizing sales opportunities, and contributing to overall business growth.

What are some common challenges faced in a sales pre set appointments role, and how can they be addressed?

One common challenge in a Sales Pre Set Appointments role is dealing with frequent appointment cancellations or rescheduling, which can disrupt your workflow and targets. Building strong rapport with prospects during the initial contact and confirming appointments with reminders can help reduce no-shows. Additionally, collaborating closely with the sales team ensures that handoffs between appointment setters and sales representatives are smooth, increasing the likelihood of successful meetings. Staying organized and adaptable is key to managing a dynamic appointment schedule effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct home appointments to diagnose issues, present solutions, and close sales.

  • Manage a schedule of pre-set appointments routed by area, ensuring efficient travel between sites.

  • Build trust with homeowners through consultative selling and earn sales commissions.

Job description

Sales Representative: $100K+ Earning Potential, Pre-Set Appointments (Gutters), Central Florida

We book 15–20 warm homeowner appointments a week for you. People who called us first, not doors you're knocking on cold. No script, no gimmicks. Just real appointments with people who want the work done.
A day in the life

Your appointments are scheduled and routed by area, so you're not crossing Central Florida to get to the next one. Every appointment is a homeowner expecting you. You walk the property, diagnose the real issue, present the right solution, and close. That's the job. We handle the marketing, the phones, and the scheduling so you can spend your time actually selling.
How you get paid, and how you grow

We have a two-track pay structure designed to give you a cushion on day one, with the ability to earn as much as possible as you grow.
New reps typically start with Base + Commission. This gives you up to $500/week guaranteed for running your scheduled appointments, commission on every sale you close, plus performance bonuses as you build your pipeline.
As you prove you can close consistently, you graduate into a Full Commission position: 100% commission, uncapped, paid weekly on every confirmed sale. Our top reps clear $2,000+/week, and year one can generate $80,000–$130,000.
If you've already got a proven track record closing in-home or big-ticket sales, we'll talk about starting you on Full Commission from day one.
Why here

We're a Top 100 Culture Award winner and a Certified Great Place to Work. We train you on our process instead of just handing you a stack of leads and walking away. There are even opportunities to grow within the company beyond this role.
Who succeeds here

This role rewards two kinds of people, and we want both reading this. Some of you already have sales experience: gutters, roofing, windows, siding, HVAC, solar, pest control, real estate, timeshare, or big-ticket in-home consultations. Others have never had the title but have had the job: veterans, tradespeople, or anyone who's run their own business and sold the work themselves. If you've earned trust and closed face-to-face before, you have what this takes.
This is a real consultative sale, not a script. You're diagnosing an actual problem and building trust at someone's kitchen table. If you're the kind of person who listens first and earns trust before you ever ask for the sale, you'll do well here.
Preference goes to candidates who've sold gutters before, but it's not required. We train the process; we can't train the instinct.
Requirements

21+, valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and able to travel daily across our Clermont, Lakeland, Kissimmee, and Villages service area. Full-time, on-site, field-based. Not remote.
What happens next

A quick phone screen, then an in-person interview where we walk through both pay plans and a couple of real scenarios you'd actually face in the field. We move fast on candidates who are a real fit.
Apply today. You could be running your first appointment within a week.
