Position Summary...As the Manager, Seller Engagement, you will lead seller engagement initiatives supporting Walmart Marketplace's Seller Performance organization. You will partner closely with Business Operations, Seller Support, Marketing, and Product to develop communication strategies that help sellers understand performance expectations, adopt new capabilities, and improve their performance on Walmart Marketplace.What you'll do...

You will serve as the primary Seller Engagement partner for the Seller Performance organization, translating business priorities into effective seller-facing communications, go-to-market strategies, and enablement programs. Using customer insights and performance data, you will continuously evaluate and improve how we engage sellers to drive understanding, adoption, and positive business outcomes.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to develop effective engagement strategies, influence cross-functional initiatives, improve seller understanding, and continuouslyoptimizethesellerexperience through data-driven decision making.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Seller Engagement Strategy
  • Partner with the Senior Manager to execute the Seller Engagement strategy for the Seller Performance organization.
  • Serve as the primary Seller Engagement partner for Seller Performance, ensuring communications align with business priorities and seller needs.
  • Identifyopportunities to improve seller understanding, simplify complex experiences, and increase transparency across seller touchpoints.
  • Recommend improvements to engagement strategies based on customer feedback, business priorities, and measurable impact.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Lead seller engagement strategies for new products, policies, pilots, and operational initiatives.
  • Develop communication plans, messaging frameworks, enablement materials, and launch strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution across all seller-facing channels.
  • Balance immediate business priorities with a scalable and consistent communication approach.
  • Customer Insights and Continuous Improvement
  • Gather and analyze seller feedback, engagement metrics, behavioral data, and operational insights toidentifyopportunities for improvement.
  • Measure the effectiveness of seller engagement initiatives and recommend optimizations.
  • Translate seller insights into recommendations that improve products, processes, and seller experiences.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional Partnership
  • Build trusted partnerships across Business Operations, Seller Support, Marketing,Productand other stakeholder teams.
  • Represent the voice of the seller throughout planning and execution activities.

  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing communication or go-to-market strategies for products, programs, or operational initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect customer needs to business outcomes.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple organizations.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within eCommerce, online marketplaces, trust & safety, risk, compliance, or seller ecosystems.
  • Experience building customer engagement, enablement, or customer education programs atscale.
  • Experience applying customer research, behavioral insights, experimentation, and analytics to improve customer experiences.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping, communication strategy, content governance, and change management.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, ora relatedfield.
