Job description

Role Summary

The Sales Operations Specialist is a newly created, crossfunctional role designed to materially improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Sales organization. This position consolidates and formalizes several operational responsibilities that are currently handled at the senior leadership level, including CRM and CPQ operations, training, enablement, crossfunctional process improvement and program management of these responsibilities.

The role serves the operational backbone of the global sales organization, ensuring that sales systems, data, and processes operate reliably, consistently, and at scale across regions. By owning these responsibilities, endtoend, this role enables senior sales leadership to focus more heavily on strategy and growth initiatives.

Scope

  • Function within the global team that executes processes from Lead to Quote.

Key Responsibilities

CrossFunctional Process Improvement

  • Identify recurring operational pain points and inefficiencies across the sales organization.
  • Create requirements and process documentation in conjunction with global teams.
  • Lead crossfunctional initiatives to streamline workflows and improve execution.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Sales Operations Teams, IT, Product Management, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Support special projects, executive requests, and change initiatives as needed.

Sales Systems Ownership (CRM & CPQ)

  • Act as the daily business owner and primary business administrator for CRM, CPQ and related sales enablement platforms.
  • Provide daytoday operational support for sales users, including troubleshooting quoting, forecasting, and data issues.
  • Manage user access, permissions, licenses, and role assignments in coordination with IT.
  • Own and maintain global quote approval workflows and sales system governance.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and implement system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Lead global training efforts for CRM, CPQ, Co-pilot AI and related sales processes.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and recorded content.
  • Drive adoption and compliance with standard sales processes and tools across regions.
  • Track training completion and identify adoption gaps requiring followup.

New Hire Onboarding & Operational Readiness

  • Own the sales operations portion of newhire onboarding for sales and related roles.
  • Maintain and execute a standardized onboarding checklist covering systems, access, and training.
  • Coordinate with IT and other support teams to ensure timely and complete setup.
  • Actively identify and close onboarding process gaps that impact productivity.

Core Deliverables

  • Stable, wellgoverned CRM and CPQ environments with high user satisfaction and adoption.
  • Scalable training and onboarding programs that accelerate sales productivity.
  • Documented and improved sales and sales operations processes that reduce friction and rework.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or commercial analytics.
  • Handson knowledge of CRM and CPQ platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, quoting tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional projects and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business users.
  • Experience designing and delivering training or enablement programs is strongly preferred.
  • Education - Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • International Travel approximately 10%
