Job description

Benefits:
  • Free uniforms
  • Paid time off
  • Training & development

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Regional Sales & Operations Manager to help lead and grow four Anytime Fitness locations.
This is not a traditional regional management position where you'll simply oversee managers and review reports. We're looking for someone who enjoys building teams, developing salespeople, solving problems and driving results.
You'll work directly with ownership to build strong teams at each location, improve membership and training sales, create accountability, and ensure an exceptional member experience.
As our teams develop, this position will evolve into greater multi-location leadership and oversight.
What You'll Do
Sales Leadership

  • Drive membership growth across four locations
  • Train and coach staff on sales, prospecting, lead follow-up and closing
  • Monitor leads, appointments, show rates, conversions and membership sales
  • Develop sales processes and accountability systems
  • Identify opportunities to increase personal training and coaching revenue
  • Lead regular sales coaching and performance meetings
People & Staffing

  • Recruit, interview and help hire great employees
  • Train and onboard new team members
  • Develop front-desk/sales employees into strong performers
  • Set expectations and hold employees accountable
  • Address performance issues quickly and professionally
  • Help maintain appropriate staffing and scheduling across all locations
Club Operations

  • Regularly visit all four locations
  • Ensure clubs maintain high standards for cleanliness, service and presentation
  • Help resolve member and operational issues
  • Step in when needed during staffing shortages or transitions
  • Identify problems and take ownership of solving them
  • Maintain consistency across all four locations
Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
  • Have a strong background in sales, sales management or sales training
  • Have experience coaching people to improve performance
  • Are comfortable working with goals, KPIs and accountability
  • Have experience hiring, training or managing employees
  • Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
  • Are comfortable having difficult performance conversations
  • Enjoy being both a leader and a hands-on problem solver
  • Can move between locations based on where you're needed most
Fitness industry experience is helpful, but not required.

We're more interested in finding an exceptional sales leader and people developer than someone who simply has gym management experience.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first several months, we expect you to:
  • Build reliable staffing at each location
  • Establish consistent sales and lead-follow-up processes
  • Improve employee sales skills and accountability
  • Increase membership and training sales
  • Reduce the need for ownership to handle daily staffing and operational issues
  • Develop employees who can successfully manage day-to-day responsibilities at each club
Schedule & Travel
This is a full-time, multi-location position. Regular travel between our four Pittsburgh-area Anytime Fitness locations is required.
The schedule will have flexibility but will vary based on the needs of the clubs. This is a hands-on leadership position and will occasionally require evening or weekend availability.
Why This Role Is Different
This is an opportunity to have a significant impact on a growing multi-location fitness business.
We're not looking for someone to simply maintain four gyms.
We're looking for someone who can build four great teams, develop great salespeople and help take our clubs to the next level.
Compensation
Base Salary: $40,000–$50,000
Performance Bonuses: Up to $12,000–$15,000+ annually
Target Total Compensation: Approximately $52,000–$60,000+

Performance incentives will be tied to measurable results including membership growth, sales performance, training revenue, staffing and overall club performance.
