Job description

The Residential Direct Sales Representative is responsible for cultivating leads, meeting with prospective customers, and closing sales for residential services within an assigned local territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The primary duty of the RDSR is making sales and/or obtaining orders or contracts for services that will be paid by the client or customer; and is customarily and regularly engaged away from the office and in customers' homes and other community based locations.
  • Identify upselling opportunities by prospecting in assigned community events, evaluating their needs, and selling solutions for those needs.
  • Participate in setting targeted community sales & product strategy by remaining current on competitive offers, industry trends, and market activities.
  • Provide feedback to enhance sales processes.
  • Maintain quality service by selling appropriate solutions in keeping with Company's standards and identified revenue and penetration objectives.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and offer residents additional or upgraded services.
  • Maintain product and technical knowledge by engaging in group discussions, attending weekly sales meetings, and educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal relationships and embracing best practices.
  • Other duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Customer service experience along with a working understanding of VOIP, LAN, TCP/IP, Alcatel, Cisco, ZTE, Video on Demand, Fiber Optics and IPTV
  • Working knowledge of related disciplines in customer support operations, i.e. Launch Operations, Call Center, Field Operations, Telecommunications and Network Operations.
  • Passion for technology and home automation
  • Previous technical support roles with sales or upgrading opportunities.
  • Must have active and clean, non-restrictive, state issued driver's license in State where hired
