Job description

Description

This is a full-time position open to remote candidates within the continental United States, with preference given to candidates in the South Florida area who would work in a hybrid arrangement.

Every day, MASA's sales force is the first point of contact for families seeking protection when it matters most. As our Sales Operations Compliance Specialist, you'll make sure that team runs the way it should, properly trained, documented, and monitored, so the trust our members place in us never wavers.

About Us

MASA has been a leader in emergency medical transportation insurance since 1974. We're not just a company - we're a close-knit team dedicated to "Protecting families with compassion when others don't." Our professional yet friendly company culture fosters collaboration, innovation, and a clear mission that resonates through every role as we support our expanding base of 2+ million members across the United States and the Caribbean. Learn more at https://www.masaaccess.comย

What You Will Do

Reporting to our Sr. Director, Consumer Sales Operations & Enablement, you will:

  • Own first-line oversight of our sales force: coordinating pre-activation reviews, onboarding documentation, and first-sale, event, and annual recertification checks.
  • Monitor key performance signals like training completion, production trends, cancellations/refunds, and complaint indicators, flagging risk before it grows.
  • Build and maintain monthly monitoring reports, trigger logs, corrective action trackers, and oversight files that keep our sales channel audit-ready.
  • Administer LMS updates, policy acknowledgements, and compliance training assignments to keep our team current and in good standing.
  • Escalate medium- and high-severity matters to Compliance per protocol, and support periodic oversight reviews with requested documentation.
  • Maintain centralized dashboards and operational metrics, spotting documentation gaps and recommending process improvements alongside Sales Leadership, Compliance, and other partners.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years managing compliance programs and projects.ย
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Sharp organizational, analytical, and documentation skills. You're comfortable owning detail-heavy processes end to end.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel, CRM platforms, and learning management systems.
  • A strong communicator who can partner across Sales, Compliance, and other teams to keep first-line monitoring consistent.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and adapting as business needs shift.
  • A plus: familiarity with marketing to the senior population, including Medicare-related markets and complementary products or services.

What We Will Provide You

  • Competitive base salary, bonuses, and comprehensive employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, and vision insurance with highly rated carriers; a 401(k) program with a company match; paid time off; company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance; and a free MASA membership.
  • A professional and friendly company culture that supports a clear mission: "Protecting families with compassion when others don't."ย
  • A hands-on role in shaping how sales and compliance work together, with close collaboration alongside our Sr. Compliance Director and real ownership over how our monitoring processes evolve as our team grows.

Why We Think You'll Love This Opportunity

This role puts you at the center of how MASA keeps its promises--ensuring the team that represents us is properly trained, monitored, and set up to serve our members well. You'll build relationships across Sales, Compliance, and Operations, bring structure to complex processes, and see a direct line between your work and the trust 2+ million members place in us every day.
