Job description

About the Sales Operations Team

Sales Operations partners with Zipline's commercial teams to turn strategy into repeatable execution. We build the systems, data, and operating rhythms that help sales teams prioritize the right accounts, manage pipeline, and act on insights. Our work spans CRM governance, account research, pipeline reporting, process improvement, sales enablement, and cross-functional go-to-market initiatives.

The Role

As a Sales Operations Analyst Intern, you will help strengthen the infrastructure behind Zipline's growing commercial organization. You will work on projects that make sales data more useful, processes more scalable, and decisions easier to make. You may support pipeline analysis, account and territory planning, CRM improvements, prospecting operations, and reporting. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other business partners while learning how a high-growth company builds and scales its go-to-market engine.

What You'll Do

  • Audit, standardize, and enrich CRM records to improve data quality and trust in reporting.
  • Support recurring pipeline, forecast, and funnel reporting; identify trends in stage movement, aging, coverage, and conversion.
  • Build account lists, market maps, and research briefs that help sales teams prioritize prospects and whitespace opportunities.
  • Document and improve sales processes, including lead routing, handoffs, opportunity stages, and follow-up workflows.
  • Coordinate cross-functional Sales Operations initiatives by tracking milestones, owners, risks, and next steps.
  • Create practical dashboards, analysis, playbooks, and enablement materials for sales and leadership stakeholders.
  • Identify repetitive work and help evaluate automation or AI-enabled ways to improve speed, consistency, and quality.
What You'll Bring
  • You must have completed at least two years of undergraduate degree in business, economics, analytics, marketing, operations, engineering, or a related field. Candidates who are currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's, master's, or MBA degree are eligible.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work carefully with data and details.
  • Curiosity about how sales organizations operate and a willingness to ask questions, investigate problems, and learn new tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn analysis into a concise recommendation.
  • Comfort managing multiple workstreams in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Experience with spreadsheets, CRM systems, reporting tools, or process documentation is helpful but not required.
  • HubSpot Admin experience is a plus.
