Position: Data Analyst

Location: Etters, PA

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high-speed, high-bandwidth electrical connectors, cables, and systems for the Datacom/Telecom market (AI, ML, GPUs, Servers, Switches, Routers, Storage). Our products help to enable the artificial intelligence revolution by helping major Tier 1 Hyperscale Data Centers, their OEMs and break-out AI customers to innovate globally. We are currently seeking detail-oriented, technically skilled Data Analysts to join our engineering team. We're hiring across experience levels, from junior to senior.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Data Analyst will support engineering teams by transforming raw operational data into reliable reporting and analysis that drives decision-making. Working alongside data scientists and software engineers, you will gather requirements, build and maintain dashboards, and improve the accuracy and consistency of data across multiple systems. Scope and level of ownership will be tailored to the candidate's experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple engineering systems, reconciling inconsistencies across sources
  • Partner with engineering stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear, actionable dashboards and reports
  • Build and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to automate recurring data pulls and reduce manual reporting work
  • Conduct root-cause and trend analysis to surface issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain documentation for data sources, definitions, and reporting logic so outputs are consistent and repeatable across the team
  • Perform data quality checks, flagging and resolving discrepancies before they reach stakeholders
  • For more senior candidates: lead requirements-gathering on complex initiatives and mentor junior analysts

QUALIFICATIONS:

A good candidate should have 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role; required experience will scale with the level of the role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field required. MS preferred.
  • Comfort working with messy, real-world data, including cleaning, reconciling, and validating across multiple sources
  • Strong communication skills, able to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and explain findings clearly to mixed audiences
  • Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of others is a plus for more senior candidates

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

  • SQL skills, with the ability to write queries beyond pulling pre-built reports
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas or similar) for data cleaning, transformation, and automation
  • Experience with a BI/visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)

Amphenol Corporation is proud of our reputation as an excellent employer.
