 JOB SUMMARY:

Wild Marketing Group is seeking a driven New Business Development Executive focused exclusively on opening new accounts and generating net-new revenue.

This is a true hunting role. You will build your own pipeline, identify and pursue target accounts, lead the sales process from discovery through close, and transition established programs to our Account Management team so you can stay focused on new business.

Our capabilities span two core areas: 1) global sourcing and custom product development, including private label and retail solutions, and 2) branded merchandise marketing programs. We are looking for someone who can confidently sell across both.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified net-new business opportunities.
  • Prospect through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, industry events, referrals and other outbound channels.
  • Identify opportunities with marketing, procurement, merchandising, brand, franchise, retail and operations teams.
  • Identify global sourcing opportunities where Wild can improve cost, product innovation, quality, supply chain or speed to market.
  • Understand retail requirements such as line reviews, packaging specifications, compliance, item setup and vendor onboarding.
  • Conduct discovery, qualify opportunities and develop solutions based on the customer’s business needs.
  • Partner with Wild’s sourcing, creative, engineering, marketing and technology teams to develop presentations, samples, prototypes and proposals.
  • Lead pricing, negotiations, RFPs and the closing process.
  • Secure the first purchase order and support a successful program launch before transitioning the account to Account Management.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting in HubSpot.
  • Represent Wild at trade shows, retail meetings, franchise conferences and industry events.

SELL SOLUTIONS ACROSS WILD’S FULL CAPABILITIES, INCLUDING:

  • Custom product development and private label
  • Global sourcing and manufacturing
  • Retail and big-box programs
  • Branded merchandise, apparel and decoration
  • Company stores and ecommerce programs
  • Print, packaging and point-of-purchase
  • Warehousing, fulfillment and kitting
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–7 years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of generating net-new business.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline from the ground up.
  • Strong prospecting and cold outreach skills.
  • Experience selling to marketing, procurement, merchandising, brand or operations decision makers.
  • Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Global sourcing, importing, custom product development or private label
  • Retail, big-box, home improvement or consumer product programs
  • Promotional products, branded merchandise, apparel or decoration
  • Print, packaging or point-of-purchase
