They also prepare regular reports on sales figures for upper management.

Job description

Sales Manager - Remote Position

WholesaleCollectibles.com

WholesaleCollectibles.com is seeking a Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale the company’s first formal sales force. The company sells pallets, bulk groupings, and large wholesale lots of collectible products to resellers, distributors, marketplaces, breakers, streamers, retail operators, and other high-volume buyers.

Compensation is performance-driven and designed to reward sales production. Based on current economics, an entry-level sales representative selling approximately 2 pallets per month is expected to clear approximately $66,000 annually, while an experienced closer selling approximately 10 pallets per month could clear approximately $270,000 annually, plus significant additional incentives. Sales Manager compensation may also include overrides, bonuses, and other performance-based incentives tied to team production.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role. The Sales Manager must be able to sell directly, prospect new buyers, close wholesale deals, manage inbound and outbound opportunities, and create a repeatable sales process for a company that is building its sales operation from the ground up.

The role will begin through a 90-day provisional sales representative trial program. WholesaleCollectibles.com intends to onboard approximately five sales representatives during this period. The top performer will be elevated into the Sales Manager role, strong performers may be retained and added to the permanent sales force, and nonperformers will be removed quickly.

Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and managing sales representatives; creating sales scripts, outreach templates, follow-up systems, buyer qualification standards, CRM processes, and closing procedures; and establishing daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity expectations.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for selling pallets and bulk lots, prospecting qualified wholesale buyers, presenting inventory clearly, negotiating within company-approved pricing guidelines, maintaining buyer relationships, and developing repeat purchase accounts.

Performance will be measured by revenue generated, gross margin contribution, qualified leads contacted, buyer conversations, quotes issued, deals closed, average deal size, CRM accuracy, follow-up discipline, professionalism, and ability to generate repeat buyers.

The ideal candidate has experience in wholesale sales, collectibles, trading cards, liquidation, distribution, marketplace selling, or high-volume resale environments. Collectibles experience is preferred, but strong wholesale, reseller, or B2B sales experience may be sufficient.

This is a performance-driven opportunity for a practical operator, closer, and team builder. The right candidate will create the sales engine for WholesaleCollectibles.com, enforce accountability, identify top talent, cut nonperformance quickly, and turn available inventory into consistent wholesale revenue.
