We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager for our Nissan Greenville store located in Greenville, South Carolina, on Laurens Rd.

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the sales department and staff
  • Recruit, train, coach, and lead sales team to achieve metrics and drive dealership revenue
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies to increase sales and gross profit
  • Use sales software and tools to monitor sales progress; hold the team accountable for reaching goals and complying with best practices
  • Assist staff on the floor to negotiate and close deals
  • Oversee inventory management and control, optimize vehicle inventory and showroom pricing
  • Appraise trade ins
  • Structure customer deal sheets and finance options
  • Monitor and resolve any complaints, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and repeat sales and service business
  • Ensure compliance with manufacture guidelines and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Proactively communicate potential issues with leadership

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Full-time availability estimated 40-50 hours per week. Work schedule vary and may include evenings, weekends, and peak sales days.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent and authorized to work in the USA for any employer
  • All applicants must have a current and valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and must be insurable under our garage-keepers policy standards
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Strong CRM and Dealership technology skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient mathematical and data interpretation skills using American units of measure
  • Physical activities include:  frequently traverse multi-level Dealership property to engage with clients and perform appraisals; drive vehicles; detect and identify vehicle issues and safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (10lbs frequently); operate equipment; repetitive motion; sedentary periods when working at desk. 
  • Work is conducted inside, outside, in varying weather conditions, on public and private roadways, and in proximity to moving vehicles and equipment in a shop environment with potential exposure to loud noises and various industrial chemicals.
