Job Title:
(S) Trainee

Overview:

  • Learns and performs assigned duties, under direction of experienced personnel, to gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to higher-level positions.
  • Receives training and performs duties in a specific department or several departments, such as credit, customer relations, accounting, or sales, to become familiar with line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business.

Typical Functions:

  • Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
  • Acquires training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities.
  • May be required to attend company-sponsored training classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
