Senior Sales force Developer HBITS-08-14964
DURATION: 24 Months
LOCATION: Albany, NY - Hybrid
Develop applications in the application modernization project in the Salesforce platform
Qualifications
  • Software Developer- Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
  • Expert- 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
  • 84 Months Experience working on projects with 3 or more years in a leadership role on Salesforce platform
  • 60 Months Experience Designing and consuming custom REST and SOAP web services.
  • 60 Months Experience Implementing secure connections using OAuth 2.0 flows, JWT, Named Credentials, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • 36 Months Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft and Informatica
  • 60 Months Experience with Salesforce Apex (Classes, Triggers, Controllers), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL.
  • 60 Months Experience with Salesforce Flow Builder (Record-Triggered, Screen, Autolaunched), Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Security Model (OWDs, Sharing Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets).
  • 60 Months Experience with Git/GitHub, VS Code, Salesforce CLI, SFDX, CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins), Scratch Orgs, Sandboxes.
  • 24 Months Experience in integrating AI, prompt engineering, and unified data profiles into custom development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer or other Salesforce Certification

Day-to-Day tasks
  • Provide guidance & assistance to various development teams during full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Collaborate with other Technical Architects to create and foster a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment for OMH applications.
  • Participate in business analysis and systems development lifecycle.
  • Use the Salesforce platfom to develop applications.
  • Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
  • Data manipulation, including manipulation of Protected Health Information data.
  • Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
  • Use a source code repository GitLab for checking source code in and out, branching off new versions of the source code.
  • Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
  • Code applications that access Protected Health Information.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.

Participate in multi-agency technical meetings and work sessions.
  • Guide & advise various development teams on software design & architecture matters
  • Provide assistance & advise on best practices for using GIT for code versioning & collaboration.
  • Coordinate service requests with various ITS Chief Operating Office personnel for releases and changes for the application.
