The Opportunity
As a Marketing Consultant, you will serve as a subject matter expert for omni-channel marketing campaign development and execution, and content creation for MassMutual life products. You will be instrumental in the thought leadership and creation of marketing content including sales concepts and collateral, competitive positioning, and more. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, creative writing experience, and the ability to build relationships and collaborate closely with stakeholders. You will have immediate impact and the opportunity to interface with marketers, product experts, and sales throughout the organization.

This role is part of the Product Marketing Strategy group that is responsible for crafting clear and compelling stories, and comprehensive omni-channel marketing campaigns to drive revenue by increasing financial professional and client engagement. We are a highly collaborative team that supports marketing needs across all MassMutual product lines and distribution channels. The Impact:
As a Marketing Consultant, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Partner with integrated marketing groups including creative, media, sales and project management to build omni-channel advisor and consumer marketing campaigns to support the growth of our life products.
  • Develop key content and materials, focusing on life initiatives. Product launches and promotion, and sales enablement materials will make up the body of work.
  • Interact with key stakeholders to obtain buy-in and improve messaging of materials and campaign content.
  • Engage product specialists and compliance to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of materials and campaign content.
  • Inventory and monitor content across products and campaigns to ensure it is always up-to-date and easy to access across multiple mediums including print, video, social, and web properties. Collaborate with marketing operations to ensure proper placement, tagging and inventory of content within our technology solutions.

The Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 4+ years marketing, product marketing, field marketing, sales enablement, wholesaler support, or distribution support with 2+ years of life insurance industry experience

The Ideal Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ Years of experience Financial Services Marketing Products including Life insurance to advisors and consumers
  • Proven written communication skills, with demonstrated creative content development
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, SharePoint, Box and Outlook
  • Ability work in a cross functional team and provide clear and concise content that drives engagement from those using our content.
  • Great project management skills with the ability to problem-solve and identify process efficiencies and improvements
  • Omni-channel marketing campaign development for B2B and B2C audiences

$99,800-$131,000
