What we're looking for

Ordo is Americaโ€™s fastest-growing school food company, and weโ€™re seeking a Sales Director to get us in front of new schools and districts to bring fresh, healthy meals to students across the country. As the Sales Director, youโ€™ll be responsible for the full cycle of sales for your accounts, from sourcing to closing. Youโ€™ll be expected to do whatever it takes to bring new schools into the fold, from calling upon clients to traveling to conferences and meetings.

What youโ€™ll do
  • Report directly to the CEO as Sales Director
  • Call upon schools and childcare centers across the country
  • Attend conferences with the team and solo
  • Close at least $5M in new business each yearโ€”a single large district or 20 small schools/centers, whatever fits your style best
  • Travel when necessary
  • Record and share videos of product, yourself, the company
  • Build a social following (ex. LinkedIn) for your target audience
  • Build a book of business for yourself
  • Capture existing market share and originate new business wherever possible
  • Become an expert in school food service and necessary regulations (ex. National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, etc.)
Who you are
  • Minimum 2+ years of sales experience
  • Preferred: some experience selling services to SMBs, experience selling SaaS
  • Experience working in schools or serving schools is a plus
  • Youโ€™re used to carrying the sales machine on your shoulders
  • Super perseverant and tenacious
  • Incredibly curious and a faster learner
  • You donโ€™t just sell, but you can onboard clients, assess their needs, assist with initial implementation
