The Sales Development Team Lead will be responsible for developing, coaching, and supporting the sales team to drive performance and consistency. This is a producing leadership role that requires handsโ€‘on involvement in training, realโ€‘time coaching, and the ability to step in and assist with closing deals when needed.

This role requires a strong background in sales performance, proven results, and the ability to effectively train and mentor others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train new hires and existing team on systems, processes, and sales workflow
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and workflow
  • Improve and refine sales processes
  • Listen to sales calls and provide coaching and feedback
  • Work closely with sales team members by joining appointments and shadowing in the field
  • Assist in live customer interactions to help coach both new and existing team members
  • Routinely walk the sales floor to provide realโ€‘time support and guidance
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics related to calls and sales activity
  • Hold individual and team meetings to review performance and provide coaching
  • Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and process improvements
  • Deal facilitation
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging and improve lead conversion
  • Step in when necessary to assist in closing deals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated and measurable experience in sales (proven personal results)
  • 3โ€“5+ prior experience in sales leadership, training, or coaching
  • Bilingual (strongly preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-results driven environment
  • Experience using CRM systems and tracking sales performance metrics
