Job description

Sales Development Representative (Canvasser)
Job Overview
Location: Rhode Island & Southeastern Massachusetts
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: 100% Performance-Based
About LOPCO Contracting
At LOPCO Contracting, we help homeowners protect, improve, and maintain their homes through exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding customer service.
Everything we do is guided by three core values: Personable. Particular. Professional.
We're looking for individuals who believe their success should be determined by their effort, attitude, and results—not by a guaranteed paycheck.
Position Overview
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for creating opportunities for LOPCO by identifying homeowners with legitimate home improvement needs and scheduling qualified consultations for our Project Consultants. This is not a sales-closing position. You won't provide estimates or negotiate contracts. Your responsibility is simple: create qualified opportunities.
Success in this role is measured by activity, consistency, and results. Every conversation has the potential to become a qualified lead, a completed consultation, and ultimately a sold project.
Key Responsibilities
  • Canvas assigned residential neighborhoods throughout LOPCO's service area.
  • Engage homeowners in confident, professional, and personable conversations.
  • Identify potential home improvement needs.
  • Schedule qualified consultations for LOPCO Project Consultants.
  • Collect accurate homeowner information and properly qualify each opportunity.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, and customer interactions within LOPCO's CRM.
  • Consistently manage your pipeline and follow up on every opportunity.
  • Represent the LOPCO brand with professionalism and integrity.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing coaching.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual performance goals.
Performance-Based Compensation
This position offers three opportunities to earn income from every qualified opportunity you create:
  • $50 for every Qualified Lead submitted.
  • $100 for every Qualified Appointment & Consultation completed by a LOPCO Project Consultant.
  • 1% commission on every Sold Project generated from your lead.
Top performers have the opportunity to earn $2,200-$3,000+ per week. Actual earnings are entirely performance-based and are determined by the number and quality of opportunities you create. There is NO cap on earning potential.
What We're Looking For
This position is designed for individuals who are driven by performance and motivated by results.
The people who succeed in this position at LOPCO don't wait for opportunities—they create them.
Successful Sales Development Representatives are:
  • Competitive and motivated by achieving measurable results.
  • Relentless in pursuing goals despite rejection.
  • Disciplined enough to maintain a high level of daily activity.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with complete strangers.
  • Confident, personable, and professional in every interaction.
  • Accountable for their own performance.
  • Coachable and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Organized enough to consistently manage every lead and follow through on every opportunity.
  • Motivated by the idea that greater effort leads to greater income.
This role isn't for everyone.
It is best suited for individuals who believe their income should reflect the value they create rather than simply the number of hours they work. Those looking for guaranteed results without consistent effort are unlikely to enjoy this position.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Smartphone with internet access.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods throughout the day.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in sales, customer service, canvassing, marketing, hospitality, athletics, recruiting, or retail is helpful, but not required. We provide the training, coaching, and support needed for motivated individuals to succeed.
Why Join LOPCO?
  • Unlimited earning potential.
  • Performance-based advancement opportunities.
  • Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training.
  • Hands-on coaching from experienced sales professionals.
  • A competitive, supportive, and team-oriented culture.
  • The opportunity to develop valuable sales, communication, and business development skills that can benefit your entire career.
Our Mission
Every conversation creates an opportunity to improve a homeowner's experience while building lasting relationships throughout the communities we serve.
Personable. Particular. Professional.
