Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handles inbound calls from financial advisors related to general market knowledge, Vanguard product information, and competitor products. Profiles prospective clients, speaks to suitable Vanguard investments and passes sales leads to responsible FAS sales team when appropriate.

  • Responds to routine or lower complexity inquiries from potential and current clients.

  • Plays key role in supporting the Internal and External sales executives and FAS management team. Supports sales executives with a variety of administrative and client follow up requests to enable sales executives to maximize external client and prospect engagement.

  • Solicits and responds to inquiries from Internal and External sales executives related to client's general product research, administrative requests and all sales/marketing materials requests.

  • Oversees responsibility for delegating or responding to advisor e-mail inquiries submitted through the Financial Advisor Website.

  • Approves or rejects registration requests from unknown advisors.

  • Generates various reports for internal-only distribution to the broader FAS Sales desk.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Two years related work experience preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.
