JOB POSTING: Sales Associate

Job Details:

PacAero Mission (formerly Legacy Technologies) is looking for a sales associate to field all correspondence from customers and provide customer service as required. The purpose of this position is to:

  • Generate company revenues and profitability through soliciting and obtaining orders
  • Support and maintain existing customer relationships 
  • Learn and understand company capabilities and products to align with customer technical requirements 
  • Develop new accounts
  • Support corporate initiatives and growth goals, both internally and externally

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customer contact for assigned tasks
  • Generate new and repeat orders by providing product and technical information as required
  • Work with Engineering during quoting process to better understand product costing and cost model to ensure product profitability 
  • Liaise with Engineering and production as required for new and existing customer accounts or products
  • Obtain orders and process through contract review and order entry
  • Potentially visit existing and prospective customers as appropriate in the future
  • Reconcile Sales Force and QAD as needed
  • Head up compliance screening effort, screening at times of new customer/account, customer ownership change, quoting, new order placement, and time of shipment
  • Maintain gold spreadsheet, update daily 
  • Back-Up for Invoicing, fill in as needed, generating invoices in QAD 
  • Back-Up for shipping to customers requiring shipping options besides UPS 
  • Back-Up for shipping internationally - research and file export information as needed then generate shipping documents
  • Assist with marketing tasks both internally and externally
  • Perform all other duties as assigned


Requirements

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Sales Force a plus
  • Experience and proven success in a Technical Sales role a plus
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Decision making, problem solving and creative thinking skills

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to reliably commute to our Mission, KS facility
  • Values must align with established team culture and contribute to team camaraderie
