A catering sales associate targets and coordinates catering sales efforts. The job involves initiation and development of quality leads to ensure growth of catering sales.

The primary responsibility of a catering sales associate is to develop existing business and solicit new catering business through catering lead generation and catering sales marketing. The sales associate solicits new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques.

Other important duties include booking, selling, planning and coordinating all special social events while assuring the highest level of customer service. Generating revenue, establishing new accounts, monitoring booking space, booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high, conducting catering sales presentations and catering sales calls also falls under the purview of the catering sales associate job.

Catering Sales Compensation Plan

Carpentier’s Catering is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join its off-premise sales force.  Our sales commission compensation rates are designed to attract quality sales people, who are interested in a sales career, not a sales job.

Compensation rates:

Independent Sales Associate:  Starting rate is 15% of gross sales, at menu price.  This rate covers up to 10K per month of sales generated.  Up to $1500 monthly.

Valued Sales Associate:  Sales associate is graduated to this title automatically upon completing 10K in sales in a month.  Compensation is 250/week, plus 7% of gross sales, at menu price.  This rate covers up to 20K per month of sales generated. $1700-$2400 monthly.

Senior Sales Associate: Sales associate is graduated to this title automatically upon completing 20K in sales in a month.  Compensation is 500/week, plus 6% of gross sales, at menu price.  This rate covers up to 50K per month of sales generated.  $3200-5000 per month.

Platinum Sales Associate: Sales associate is graduated to this title automatically upon completing 50K in sales in a month.  Compensation is 750/week, plus 5% of gross sales, at menu price.  Base pay $5500 per month, and increases accordingly with sales.
