WICS/WRSP/WBUI over the air network affiliates serving the Springfield, Decatur, and Champaign markets, and ABC/FOX/CW combo with over 60 hours of news produced per week, is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant with strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Input and maintain TV and Digital advertising orders, including revisions due to program changes
  • Efficiently work with the team of Account Executives and Station leadership
  • Effectively work with sales team in obtaining creative materials and generating support materials for local/digital sales presentations, events and business reviews
  • Creation of PowerPoint presentations, database management, sales and revenue reports
  • Various administrative duties, campaign fulfillment and contract management
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Duties
  • Learn to perform work using Wide Orbit traffic and media sales systems, Matrix CRM, MediaLine, Ad Connections, Google Analytics and Outlook
  • Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential
  • Strong analytical ability and understanding of data-driven systems
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Able to work directly with clients on resolving issues with professionalism and patience

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $16 to $22.00 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
