Summary:
This role manages the process side of sales administration, ensuring efficiency, accurate reporting, and smooth contract execution, in the rapidly growing power and energy business for Ohio CAT.  This position reports to the Sales Administration Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • CRM Management: Maintain and optimize sales information processes, utilizing CRM and other software tools to ensure information flows smoothly and accurately through all channels. 
  • Pipeline Reporting & Forecasting: Monitor and report on sales KPIs, providing regular forecasts and performance updates to management.  This position will be responsible for implementing new processes to ensure information flows smoothly through various systems and produces the expected information accurately.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee the processing of sales contracts, proposals, and project documentation through a complex system of software through our many different locations.
  • Training: Train new sales administration employees on software systems, processes, and customer service standards.  Will integrate with other parts of Ohio CAT to ensure successful process and flow of accurate information.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise between Sales, Marketing, and Product Support department teams to ensure project accuracy and client satisfaction.
  • Learning: Must be able to learn new software, systems and processes quickly and instruct others.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of managerial or administrative experience in sales administration.
  • Strong experience with CRM and contract tracking platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. 
  • Strong process orientation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across parallel deals
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-drive, structured sales environment
  • Continuous improvement / Lean mindset
  • Strong presentation skills

Physical Requirements:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
