WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead and develop the sales team daily - coaching consultants, running structured desking sessions, and driving consistent production
• Desk deals with precision, urgency, and integrity - structuring transactions that work for the guest and the business
• Manage floor coverage and the guest experience from first contact through delivery
• Monitor individual and team performance against key metrics - units, gross per vehicle, closing ratio, lead response time, and CRM compliance
• Partner with finance to ensure clean deal handoffs and a seamless guest experience
• Support inventory management in coordination with the GSM - monitoring turn, aging, and lot activity
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new sales consultants
• Resolve escalated guest concerns with composure and professionalism
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 2+ years of Sales Manager or senior desk manager experience at a franchised dealership - required
• Luxury, import, or domestic brand experience welcome - Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, GMC, or similar backgrounds all valued across our Alaska portfolio
• Demonstrates a high HQ (Hospitality Quotient) - kindness and optimism, intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity
• Confident at the desk - able to structure deals quickly, accurately, and with the guest relationship intact
• Strong CRM discipline and the ability to build a culture of follow-up and process accountability on the floor
• Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred
• Professional, polished communicator who earns the trust of the team and the respect of the guest
• A hospitality mindset - you lead the floor the way Swickard leads its stores: guest-first, every time
