Job description

Our client is hiring aSales Engineer in Greenville, SC to support their custom automation business. They build assembly and test systems for major automotive customers, as well as clients in the consumer and energy sectors.
The Sales Engineer will drive new business in theaxle segmentof the NAFTA automotive market, expanding their presence by leveraging its reputation for high-quality automation solutions.
Key Tasks
  • Generate and grow new sales within the axle and automotive automation market
  • Promote automation solutions to prospective customers
  • Develop and manage customer relationships and sales strategies
  • Visit customer sites to define automation concepts and opportunities
  • Collaborate with technical teams to prepare proposals
  • Achieve annual sales targets and manage key accounts

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience selling custom automation solutions
  • Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Leadership ability
  • Axle experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience in systems integration / automation environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to develop and close new business
  • Strategic, self-driven, and customer-focused mindset
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic & international)
