Capital Markets Sales DirectorAbout the Role

We are seeking a Capital Markets Sales Director to drive growth and deepen client relationships within a specialized financial services firm. This senior role focuses on leveraging existing industry connections to identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and expand the firm’s footprint across hedge funds, private equity/credit, and banking clients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business using existing institutional client relationships.

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver People, Process, and Technology solutions.

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract close.

  • Expand relationships with existing clients using a strategic “land and expand” approach.

  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.

Requirements
  • 12+ years in Capital Markets with client-facing experience.

  • Strong network of institutional client contacts.

  • Proven ability to drive B2B sales via relationships, not cold outreach.

  • Deep understanding of operational and tech needs for institutional clients.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Nice to have: experience with hybrid work setups or financial technology solutions.

Location

Hybrid within the New York metro area.
