Job Summary:
The Sales Assistant supports the Sales team during peak business periods by assisting with order entry, customer communication, inventory coordination, and general administrative tasks. This role focuses on executing day-to-day sales support activities to ensure timely order processing, efficient inventory movement, and positive customer experience.
This is position designed to provide additional support during high-volume seasons and requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
A Sample of the Role:
Sales amp; Customer Support
  • Provide timely, professional responses to customer inquiries and route requests as needed
  • Assist with order entry, updates, and confirmations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Support Sales Account Managers with daily administrative and customer-related tasks
  • Maintain accurate customer information, pricing details, and account notes
  • Maintain a small book of business and expanding sales
Order amp; Inventory Coordination
  • Assist in reviewing available inventory to support order fulfillment
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to confirm product availability and shipment timing
  • Support local pickup orders and basic order adjustments
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues for resolution
Administrative Support
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in sales and inventory systems
  • Assist with basic reporting, tracking, and documentation
  • Organize files, records, and internal documentation
  • Provide general support across Sales and Operations during high-volume periods
Team Collaboration
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Administrative teams
  • Provide support on special projects and urgent needs during peak season
