Cardiology Opening - Beckley, West Virginia
No Call | No Weekends | $400K Base Salary + Loan Repayment
A respected integrated healthcare system in Beckley, West Virginia is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist to join a collaborative cardiovascular team providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Cardiologist seeking a predictable weekday schedule, strong multidisciplinary support, and the ability to practice high-quality evidence-based medicine without call, weekend, or holiday responsibilities.
Position Highlights
  • Monday-Friday schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • No call coverage

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care across inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department settings
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Conduct and interpret:
    • EKGs
    • Echocardiograms
    • Holter monitors
    • Exercise stress testing
    • Other non-invasive cardiac diagnostics
  • Coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and transfers to higher levels of care when needed
  • Prescribe medications and recommend procedural or surgical interventions as appropriate
  • Provide consultation support for critically ill cardiac patients
  • Participate in peer review and quality initiatives
  • Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship
  • Board Certified in Cardiology
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience
  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • Experience with advanced cardiac imaging or willingness to train
  • Experience supervising trainees or APPs
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
