What is a salaried UTK student?

Salaried UTK students are University of Tennessee, Knoxville students who are employed by the university in positions that provide regular, fixed compensation, rather than hourly wages. These positions are typically part-time roles such as graduate assistants, research assistants, or other university-affiliated jobs where students receive a set salary each pay period.
