Now Hiring: Dental Office Manager in Arlington, Virginia

Frontline Source Group is hiring a full-time Dental Office Manager on behalf of a private dental practice in Arlington, Virginia. This is a ground-floor leadership role with autonomy to build operations from day one in a brand new, modern facility. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, 30 to 40 hours per week, with no evenings and no weekends. Our client is accepting interviews now for an immediate start.

Why join this Arlington, Virginia dental practice:

Our client built their Arlington office for leaders who want to shape culture, systems, and operations from the ground up. You will work directly with an owner-clinician who values strong administrative leadership, supported by a brand-new facility and current dental technology.

Brand new facility with CBCT 3D imaging and digital X-rays

Bright, modern office with natural light and high ceilings

Ground-floor opportunity to build systems and operations from day one

Leadership role with autonomy and decision-making authority

Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, in-house dental care, and professional development

No evenings, no weekends, no on-call rotations

What you will do as the Dental Office Manager:

Oversee daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient systems

Manage and support front and back-office staff, create staff schedules, conduct training and performance evaluations

Monitor accounts receivable, manage collections, oversee billing processes, and track practice metrics and KPIs

Oversee insurance verification, claims submission, and follow-up; resolve billing issues and denials

Order and maintain inventory of office and clinical supplies, and manage vendor relationships

Assist with hiring, onboarding, payroll processing, and maintaining employee records

Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and Virginia state dental board regulations

Monitor patient flow, appointment scheduling efficiency, and overall patient satisfaction

Implement systems and processes to support practice growth and operational excellence

Requirements to apply:

3 or more years of dental office management or leadership experience

Proven experience managing staff and overseeing daily operations

Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and claims processing

Proficiency with dental practice management software

Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and dental regulatory compliance

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational abilities and critical thinking skills

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

5 or more years of dental office management experience

Experience opening or managing a startup dental practice

Oryx cloud-based dental practice management software experience

Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, paid time off, in-house dental care, professional development opportunities

Start date: Immediate

Who thrives in this role:

You are a natural leader who can manage office personalities with confidence, professionalism, and the right amount of warmth

You take ownership of your role without needing to be told twice and hold yourself and others accountable in a constructive, solution-oriented way

You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in environments where you help build structure, not just maintain it

You can sit across from an insurance company, a frustrated patient, or a difficult conversation and handle it with composure and good judgment

You bridge the clinical and administrative sides of the practice seamlessly, understanding enough about both to communicate effectively across the team

You bring energy to the culture, whether that is recognizing a team win, leading a staff meeting, or just making the office a place people are glad to come to

You understand that in a small business, your success and the practice's success are directly connected, and that motivates you

You treat every patient interaction as a reflection of the practice, leading your team to deliver a level of professionalism, empathy, and warmth that keeps patients coming back and referring others
