The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of our Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) capabilities. This role is responsible for maximizing the value of our SailPoint platform and ensuring identity controls support cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and business objectives. The Product Manager will drive identity governance capabilities including identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), access certifications, segregation of duties (SoD), privileged access governance, and automated provisioning.

Serving as the primary liaison between Information Security, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and business stakeholders, this individual will own product strategy and prioritization for SailPoint and its integrations across enterprise applications, Active Directory, Entra ID, HR systems, cloud services, and privileged access management platforms. The role will help advance a scalable, risk-based access management program while supporting audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and executive-level cybersecurity governance.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for ensuring that security requirements are adequately addressed in all aspects of a solution/application enablement and sustainment lifecycle, including Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) capabilities and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Design, develop, integrate, and test complex cross-functional technical solutions with a focus on security and identity governance, often collaborating with Engineers, Architects, Product Owners, and business stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Leads the team in design reviews, engineering efficiencies, product prioritization, and planning activities to ensure effective operations and delivery of business value.
  • Independently resolves complex production issues and leads troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions that span multiple applications, identity platforms, and enterprise integrations.
  • Works with architecture to help define direction for cross-functional or highly complex key technologies within a specific security domain, including identity governance, access management, and SailPoint platform capabilities.
  • Advance professional development through active participation in industry organizations, writing programming publications, pursuing educational opportunities, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Influences and leads cross-functional efforts across USAA as a subject matter expert in identity governance, access management, and SailPoint capabilities.
  • Monitors and troubleshoots highly complex systems, tools, and vendor integrations. Performs continuous research, analysis, and troubleshooting to identify, resolve, and report on highly complex security and identity governance issues.
  • Collaborates with Security Analysts, IT, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Business Partners to enhance security solutions, identity governance controls, access management capabilities, and regulatory compliance outcomes.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, and ensures the team stays current with the latest security, identity governance, and SailPoint trends and technologies.
  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), or cybersecurity-related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of experience managing or supporting SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), IdentityIQ, or comparable IGA platforms.
  • Experience working within Agile product delivery frameworks as a Product Manager, or equivalent role.
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, RBAC, access certifications, and privileged access controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical and regulatory requirements into business-focused solutions and product priorities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
  • Experience integrating SailPoint with CyberArk, Active Directory, Entra ID, ServiceNow, Workday, and cloud-based applications.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks and industry standards including SOX, FFIEC, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer, or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Experience leading identity transformation initiatives in large, highly regulated organizations.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $143,320.00 - 273,930.00.
