Summary
Drive operational excellence and ensure the reliability of the technology systems that support manufacturing and distribution operations. A Sage Manufacturing Systems Analyst bridges business needs and IT capabilities by implementing, customizing, and supporting Sage ERP solutions (like Sage 100 -formerly MAS 90/200). They gather requirements, design workflows, and train end-users to ensure financial and supply chain systems operate efficiently and accurately. This role is ideal for a collaborative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about leveraging technology to support operational success.
This position is located onsite at our facility in Sioux City, Iowa.
Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the deployment, configuration, and upgrade of Sage software modules across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and operations teams to understand workflows and translate them into actionable system designs and custom dashboards.
  • Identify root causes of system errors, monitor performance, and coordinate with Information Technology or vendor support to resolve issues.
  • Ensure data consistency and alignment between Sage and other integrated enterprise platforms (e.g., payroll, customer relationship management).
  • Develop standard operating procedures, training materials, and documentation.
  • Instruct end users on system best practices.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Technology, or Business Management
  • 2-5 years of related work experience.
  • In the absence of an Associate's degree, a minimum of 6 years of related work experience is required.
  • Require hands-on implementation and configuration experience with Sage platforms (e.g., Sage 100, Intacct).
  • Require experience with report building, SQL, and database management.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience with Cat Squared, SAP, Microsoft Access, and Marel.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
  • Require occasional movement to other offices or buildings and support in facilities during site deployments.
  • Require movement throughout plants and facilities to deploy, monitor, and support manufacturing systems equipment.
  • Require moving light equipment or supplies.
  • Require accessing files, supplies, and equipment.
  • Perform work in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
  • Experience exposure to wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
  • Experience exposure to temperatures ranging from 28°F to 100°F, including ambient and 100% humidity conditions.
  • Handle products with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 50°F.
  • Experience exposure to noise levels ranging from 50 dB to 110 db.
  • Experience exposure to chemicals commonly found in poultry, food, and processing plants.
